21
Also just realized that since I last posted I celebrated my 21st birthday. Nothing crazy, just bought wine at World Market. Ha, buying my own $7.99 bottle of wine was so rewarding.
Slowly Moving on to Bigger and Better Things
The boyfriend was supposed to close on a townhouse this week but it has been pushed to next week. Not surprising since we've only been waiting since November for all this crap to come to an end.
My patience is running very thin these days and it's been taking a toll on our relationship. I can only hope everything will settle once we move into the new place.
My car has become a dumping ground for things that will be going into the new place and its making me feel like a complete hoarder. I can hardly sleep at night because all I can do is think about how organized the new place will be. Everything will have a place and no clutter! Most of all I can't wait to have a closet again, I haven't had a full wardrobe since the summer. Thankfully we have a mild winter because all my winter is still packed away.
All we want is to be able to sit in our living room and watch TV without the noise of his mom and sister.

Airline Rant
Long story short - I grew up in Maine (at the very tip top, essentially Canada). Boy meets girl, girl and boy fall in love. Boy lives in Florida. Girl jumps at the chance to live in warmth. The story of DAS and I <3
Anyway, this move for DAS and to go to college has made my life a living hell when it comes to going home. The nearest airport to my parent's house is 1 hour and 15 minutes away. Catch is that the planes are teeny tiny planes that scare the pants off me. That makes the next nearest airport that I'm comfortable with the planes nearly 4 hours from the house. That means a whole day flying (Jax - layover - Bangor) usually a 3 hour flight, 2 hour layover, and 2 hour flight. Then 4 hours in the car to the house. Repeat the opposite way to go back to Jax.
I've done the dreaded holiday layovers, flights canceled from weather, delayed flights, and endless hours killing time in random airports. I'm not a spoiled brat that flies first class, as long as I get a window seat I'm fine. Disinfect window area, turn on ipod, large sunglasses, and lean on window and pretend to sleep so I get left alone.
I have however become very picky about where my layovers are. Here's my rankings.
1. Philly - only hate Philly when it's Sunday and Chick-fil-a is closed. They have a GAP and Body Shop. Free wi-fi for students. Great people watching. Always pro athletes around.
2. Baltimore - Comfy seating with outlets, great for long layovers as long as you have movies on your laptop.
3. Atlanta - Best people watching and I like riding the train.
4. JFK - Great people watching, and celebrity sightings.
6. Detroit - Best if you want to walk around on your layover. Not many great places to eat.
7. Charlotte - Nothing to eat, boring.
Ironically I've never been outside the airport in any of these cities besides Atlanta. So the airports do not reflect how I feel about the cities themselves. Charlotte is actually the one I want to visit the most.
All this started because I was looking at flights to Maine for June. Little Brother is graduating HS! DAS is coming with me. This will be our first trip together by plane, I'm terribly excited!
